The Champions League brings the best clubs in Europe together for an 8-month tournament and is considered the most prestigious club tournament in the world (with apologies to South American clubs). The champions from Italy, Poland, Russia, Germany, France and more duke it out over 4 main stages: Round Robin with 5 groups of 4 teams, a group of 12, a group of 6, then final 4. The last decade has been dominated by one club: Zenit Kazan from Russia. The 2018-2019 edition of Champions League looks to be the most competitive yet, with clubs from Italy competing in an arms race to take back the title.
